Finley's Winter ONEderland Party!!!

I have always wanted to do a ONEderland party for one of the kids. It didn't work out with Hudson and Harper is a fall birthday, so Finny was my last chance!
I had a lot of worker bees to help me:

The food spread:

The birthday girls place of honor:

Smash cake:

I was very happy with how it all turned out!

The birthday princess!

We had a hot chocolate bar for all of the big kids:

And then we had a special surprise guest! Santa came!

He had a gift for each kid:

Then he spent time talking with each child. He had a special conversation with Hud about how brave he is and what a wonderful little boy he is and how proud he is of how he has handled Type One. There was not a dry eye in the house:

My 3 little loves:

Santa told the story of St. Nickalus and a special version of 'Twas the Night before Christmas:

Then it was time to sing to the birthday girl!

First cake!

It was a hit!

It was a special day for a very special little girl! We were so blessed to have many friends and family that have been so supportive of us this past year. The first birthday is a milestone for every baby, but for our family it represented even more this year. We LOVE our Finny Foo so, so much!!!!

Fletcher Family Extravaganza!

We had our traditional Fletcher Family Extravaganza in Dallas! Hard to believe this was the 13th one! But, it was sweet Fin's first ever! This is one of my favorite nights of the year. We start with dinner at Campus's:

Then we pj up (at least the kids do), hit Starbucks and go see some amazing lights!

Rocking diabetes that night! In Type One talk - this is called the Unicorn:

Our favorite tree!

This and That...

My sweet, goof ball girl:

They rediscovered their favorite secret hiding place:

Breakfast with Santa at WBE is always fun:

Hudson and I went to the Compassion Experience at a nearby church. It was incredible. Life changing. Everyone should experience it:

Love this:

Finny got the traditional PBK chair for her first birthday. And just like her brother and sister before her, she loved it:
