Note to self…

When your child is having a wheels-off, no-good-very-horrible, teething, no-nap day…this might do the trick. At least for five minutes…

#4

Trent and I went to watch the #4 Horned Frogs play last night!  The energy was amazing!  We have been to quite a few TCU games, but never one like this.  Here we are in our purple getting ready to go (I still bleed green and gold, don’t worry):

They are renovating a lot of campus, this one of the new areas:

And the frog…you are supposed to rub the frog’s head on the way to the game:

Nebraska vs OU

Trent and I headed up to Omaha last weekend to attend the Nebraska/OU game  What an incredible game!  Nebraska games are so fun to go to and so different than BU games (you know I heart BU, but it is true).  We are 3-0 in games that we have attended together!  Nebraska was not expected to win this one, but they pulled out a victory!

Halloween 2009!

We had such a fun Halloween!  Before we took off for the night with friends, we dressed Huddy in his costume so he could get his “treats” from his Nana and Papa:

Then we stopped by to see Trent’s side of the family:

Then we headed over to the Oakley’s for dinner and trick-or-treating!  Keelan was a cute little kitty.  Hudson was eventually Nemo again and Gates was eventually a Tech cheerleader. But, first they looked like Ninja’s:

I think Hudson and Gates wanted the puppies to go with us:

Our attempt at a family picture.  Jenny put it the best when she said this picture sums up what some days are like when you have a “high-spirited” toddler!  This picture cracks me up:

I really don’t know how this happens…

Hudson is generally a pretty clean eater, but sometimes he gets a little crazy. The other night he was eating some black beans from our taco salads. We looked over to find this:

Daddy time at the zoo…

A few weeks ago we all went to the zoo. It had been awhile since we had been all together.  Hudson takes so much more interest in the animals now and it was fun that Trent got to see that.

Checking out the giraffes…

The infamous backpack…something before I was a parent, I swore I would never use. Then I had Hudson…who is very active, always on the move and doesn’t understand that he has to stay with us.  Fortunately, he LOVES his backpack and cries when we take it off.  Win-win – he loves it and we know he is safe!

Can’t wait to go back to the zoo as a family again soon!
