Summer Nights…

and days…

Yesterday was such a fun summer day!  We started the day at Darius’ 2nd birthday party.  I didn’t get any pictures there, but we had a fun time playing the pool and celebrating a sweet little boy!

After naps (in the big boy bed and longer than usual, yea!) we went swimming here at the house.  Hudson had a fun time playing in the sprinkler and the pool.  I think the most fun he had though was dumping water on Papa’s head repeatedly (Papa enjoyed it too, believe it or not).  We used Hudson’s new puddle jumper which I am in LOVE with!  I think this might be the best buy we have made in a while.  Hudson is able to float in the pool safely next to us.  It is the perfect thing for this pregnant mommy!  And it is perfect for our Mr. Independent 2-year-old! Win, win!

After a very fun time in the pool, Trent made us a delicious dinner and we all enjoyed eating outside:

    I bet your mom and dad are going to be so sad when Trent moves out. Probably you and Hudson too. But, man, what are they going to eat?

    LynnAnn, Our house is right on his way home~so he can stop here cook our dinner and then head on home to cook for his family!!
