Jump around…

We brought the Jumperoo down for Harps over the weekend.  This was Hudson’s favorite toy when he was Harper’s age.  I know he doesn’t remember it – but he sure enjoyed showing Harper the ropes!

As for Harps – she liked it okay.  She definitely needs more time to grow into it though. :)

bubbles, bubbles everywhere…

My kids LOVE to be outside and so do I! So, we are loving this Spring weather we have been having.  I would love for the Spring to stick around as long as possible because I am not a huge fan of our scorching summers.  Anyway, we have been spending a lot of time outside and doing one of Hud’s favorite things – playing with bubbles!!!

This and That…

Hudson got an easel from his Nana and Pop for Christmas.  He looooooooooves drawing on it.  Most mornings he says to me “I go draw Mommy!  I draw!”

Harper stayed awake on the activity mat for an extended period of time!  Maybe it isn’t so boring for her after all?

Or maybe having a ball helps…

Dinosaur – ROAR!!!!

Hudson is slightly obsessed with dinosaurs. One of his favorite games is to chase you while saying Dinosaur ROAR!!!! And usually he is carrying his T-Rex with him. :)  So, it was a no-brainer that his party needed to be a dinosaur theme.  I got the CUTEST invites on Etsy (I can’t figure out how to black out our personal info so here is the sample from the site):

In addition to Hudson’s obsession with dinosaurs…he is also obsessed with bounce houses.  So, we decided to rent a bounce house and have his party in our backyard.  ***ETA: I forgot to mention that my amazing husband picked up the bounce house, set it up and returned it – ALL BY HIMSELF.  This is highly impressive because that thing weighed 250 pounds!!!!***  Yes, Hudson’s actual birthday was a month ago…but since you never know if we will have 80 degrees or a foot of snow on the ground, we decide to wait a few weeks to make sure the weather was (hopefully) nice.  Going forward I will have his party as close to his actual birthday as I can since it was a little confusing for him (especially since we ended up having his party on my birthday which REALLY messed him up).  Anyway, it worked out well weather wise so that was good!
