Some funny things about Hudson...

Some things I want to remember about Hudson in this stage...

He LOVES mandarine oranges. He will eat an entire 11 oz can in one sitting. He would probably eat even more if I gave them to him...He is obsessed with our shoes. If there is a shoe in sight, watch out because he will go after it...

He likes to crawl with something in each hand...

He loves to sit with his back up against something (that is why I think he will love his birthday present from us)....
He loves to look outside, still loves his paci, would prefer to cruise around then do anything else, loves to eat, loves to talk and (my favorite) loves to snuggle with us. I love our Huddy Buddy...

True Story...

This is Hudson's new "trick". Whenever he would like more food and feels like I am not moving fast enough, he grabs the runner and starts flapping it. Some kids sign more, my kid flaps the runner.

***I have since moved the chair away from the runner before something spills everywhere. He still reaches for it.***

Here is a picture of me as a baby (with VERY questionable hair). If you take away the questionable hair - Trent and I are both amazed at how much it looks like Huddy. What do you think?

Doug turns thirty-FOUR!

Friday night we celebrated our good friend Doug's thirty-FOURth birthday! (He really likes the number four so that was really exciting for him). We started out with a yummy Italian dinner and finished the night with bowling. We weren't the best bowlers in the world, but we did have a good time! Happy Birthday Doug! Thanks for letting us celebrate with you!

Mirror Mirror...

Hudson gets SO excited when he sees himself in the mirror. I am not sure if he realizes who it is or if he thinks it is just a random kid, but he goes nuts. Now that he is figured out there is not a magical barrier in the living room I catch him sneaking in our room to do this:

A walk in the park...

I will begrudgingly admit that today was a beautiful day for the park. (Begrudgingly because I am not a fan of unseasonal weather and 80 degrees in January is just wrong in my book). Anyway, my mom, dad and I took Huddy to the park today. We started out with his favorite - the swing. Then we tried out the teeter-totter, but I am sad to say it wasn't much of a hit. I guess he needs to be a bit older for that. Then I took Hudson down the slide for the first time and that was a hit! It was a fun day and I look forward to doing it again....hopefully in the Spring!

Waco Road Trip!

Today Huddy and I roadtripped down to Waco. We met up with my friends Melissa and Christine and their kids Macy (6 years old) and Grace (5 months old). We ate lunch at our favorite college restaurant - Ninfa's! After that, we shopped around at Spice which is a fun store with lots of fun clothing, jewlery, etc. No trip to Waco is complete without a trip to campus and the bear pit. After a quick trip to the bookstore (where we picked up a stuffed Baylor bear for Huddy) it was time to head back. It was a fun trip and we loved seeing our friends! Can't wait to do it again soon!
