Bluebonnets 2011 aka Texas Tradition

It is a Texas tradition to take our children and plop them down in a field of bluebonnets (sometimes on the side of a highway) and snap their pictures.  It is a tradition I love and fully embrace.  I search each year for the perfect patch.  Last year I found a fantastic patch behind a store that was super safe. This year I found a fantastic patch that is off a major street, but it is quite a ways back (I am not the pull off on the side of the highway type of girl) and Trent was with me. :)  It honestly looked like a blanket of bluebonnets:

Okay, this made me giggle. There were two brothers who were taking bluebonnet pics for their mom.  They were so funny and totally mocking all of us “momtographers”. But, so hilarious.  I got such a kick out of them.  I started giving them tips on some poses they should do and in the process missed some great shots of Hudson. But, they were so so funny. They offered to take a picture of the four of us (which was SO nice) but we turned them down because we knew we had gotten all of the sit down shots we could out of Hudson.
