The kids were up bright and early and ready to swim!
The resort had a great pool with a lazy river connected to it. You could ride the lazy river to the coolest beach area. Since the kids were dying for a beach trip this summer, this was a nice compromise!
After a rest, the kids had a carpet picnic dinner!
Then it was off to see what kind of adventures we could find.
One of the evening activities was a speaker from Sea World who brought some animals! This was right up our animal loving kids alley. They were the first ones there and got front row seats:
This picture is huge, but I had to include it. Hudson had so many questions and they were all such good ones! I love his inquisitive little mind:

After the speaker, (and a good hand washing), it was s’mores time!
We headed back to the playground and Hudson made friends with some girls and played a little Frisbee!
You have got to love technology! The kids were able to facetime with Trent each night before bed:
