I feel tempted to call July 3rd the new 4th of July since our city chose to do fireworks that night…but anyway…on July 3rd the kids and I went up to have lunch with Trent at work:
The kids enjoyed themselves immensely as usual. I had a little photo shoot at home (or tried). I didn’t edit any of the photos so they are pretty dark:
That night we headed to Joe T’s:
And had a lovely dinner OUTSIDE. In JULY. In TEXAS! Will wonders never cease…
We debated taking the kids to the fireworks, but decided to forego it again this year. Trent and I did manage to watch some from our game room window which was nice. Happy 3rd of July. :)
