Blogging from the car...

Trent and I are wrapping up our vacation in the wine country. We are on our way to the airport as we speak (technology today kills me). I will have lots of pictures to post from our trip when we get back. We are sad to leave this beautiful area, but we miss Huddy Buddy a lot!!!

More to come on our vacation in the next few days...including how I almost missed it altogether.

4 month appointment

With everything going on this week, I forgot to post about Hudson's 4 month appointment on Friday. Our little guy weighs 15 pounds, 12 ounces (50th percentile), 26 inches long (75th percentile) and his head is in the 50th percentile. He grew 3 inches in 2 months! I knew he had gotten long, but I had no idea how long!

Four months...

Dear Hudson,
You are four months old today! The past month has been so much fun watching your personality come out. And what a cute personality it is! You wake up (most mornings) cooing and smiling. You get so excited when Daddy or I come to get you out of the crib. Suddenly you LOVE getting changed (this used to be quite the ordeal). You also seem to be enjoying the bath more and have even started splashing around. We still haven't made it into the pool yet - every time we get ready to take you in you decide to take an extra long nap. The car seat is still a problem in our lives, but we are hoping to remedy that in the near future. You are super strong and like to stand up whenever possible. Today, for your monthly birthday, we attempted to feed you cereal again and you really enjoyed it! I guess the four month mark is the magical day for solids. You get cuter and cuter by the day. We love you so much!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day! And a special Happy Day to Trent and our Dads! We had a wonderful day today. It started with church and then a great lunch at my parents house (Mom, thanks for cooking!). Hudson has slept most of the day away, but did wake up to interact with us briefly.

Trent, thanks for being such a wonderful dad to Hudson and a wonderful husband to me! I love you!!!

LynnAnn's Wedding...

Our friends LynnAnn and Paul got married last night! It was a beautiful wedding and LynnAnn was a gorgeous bride. We had so much fun!
