That is the only way to describe it.  6 hours after our HUGE victory…the other shoe dropped. The dreaded stomach virus hit my sweet Hudson.  I don’t have to tell you what that did for our picky eating progress…

The next day – things were looking up. We had a little Toy Story play at breakfast:

Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there.  The bug hit Trent a few hours later.  And at 10 that night, it hit sweet Harper. Which was both scary and so so sad.  At this point I hadn’t slept in three nights (why does the stomach bug ALWAYS hit in the middle of the night??) and then it hit me (in the middle of the night, naturally) on Monday night.  It was a ROUGH few days, but we made it through!

Hudson is the pickiest eater in America. I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun. I have consulted websites, books, doctors, you name it. A couple of weeks ago we finally succeeded in getting him to try a turkey burger! He ate an ENTIRE half of one! We were so proud and so excited!

And then….

Lunch date with daddy…

We went to Trent’s office to have lunch with him.  While we were waiting for him, Hud struck this pose:

A friend on facebook said he looks like a young James Dean. :)

Crafty :)

Okay, this is like the least crafty you could possibly be…but we still had fun! :)  We did a little water coloring the other day. Hudson was loving it and Harper got in on the fun, too:

Then we had a little play-doh fun:

Thanks to pinterest…many more craft days await!

More outdoor fun…

Hudson loves to assist me in the kitchen. Without fail, anytime I am cooking, I hear a little voice say, “Mommy, can I help you cook?” I love it so much!

Zoo Day!

We headed to the zoo with Nana on a beautiful day!

Hudson LOVES this baby gorilla.  The mama was not to fond of Hud standing so close to her baby and knocked on the glass!  But, the baby loved “talking” to Huddy.

We haven’t ridden the train in a while. It has been broken a lot when we have been there and the whole you have to fold your stroller down now is kind of a pain. However, it was working that day AND they let me leave the stroller up. Win-win. :)

We ended the lovely day with a picnic lunch. Perfect day for the zoo!
