Snow Day 4 – Part II

After Hudson’s nap today – the boys went out to play!  I stepped out on the porch for a quick minute to snap a few pictures while Harper slept in her swing.

Day 4 – yep, we are still snowed in.  Originally, the forecast called for 1 to 3 inches of snow today.  Then a “dusting”. Then 1 to 2 inches.  Well, we are at 5 inches and counting. It is still coming down outside.  Hud and I bundled up this morning to go play in the “notes” (which is how Hudson says snow).  Prepare for picture overload:

So, we have been iced in for 3 days now – thanks to the Great Ice Storm of 2011. Personally, I like to blame the Super Bowl being in town.  Anyway, we have done our best to keep busy and have fun during this time. Truthfully, I really don’t mind it.  It is nice to slow down a little bit and I love having Trent work from home.  Judging by the posts on Facebook, I am alone in this sentiment. :)  Anyway, here is what we have been up to…

We got out little sister’s new play mat:

Got dressed for the walk down to play with some friends! Yea for fun neighbors that are within walking distance!

Gave Harper a bath this morning after a spectacular display of spit-up…look at my sweet helper!

Looks like the fun is going to continue tomorrow!
