Great Wolf Lodge!

We surprised the kids with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge! It is one of our favorite places to go as a family!

Hud loved all the slides and was loving the wave pool. Harper wanted to spend most of her time in the kids area.

We hit our usual dinner place after a few hours in the water:

 

This time we made it back for story time (and discovered we really hadn’t missed anything in the past):

 

Ready for day 2!

We ran into some sweet friends while we were there and got to hang out with them which was such a FUN surprise! The kids (and adults) had a blast together! We thought the kids would be worn out shortly after lunch, but we stayed till almost 4!!!  They were definitely worn out though:

Can’t wait for our next trip to GWL!

Post-casa…

Hud went to Sam’s for a play date. Harper and I went home for her (non) nap.  On the way to get Hud, we stopped by the store to get the snacks for the tball game the next day. 

Harper was in charge of the cart:

We hung out for the Tanners for a little while and the kids found a lizard:

Watching them with that lizard was QUITE entertaining!

Casa

The kids and I went to see Winnie the Pooh at Casa.  Harper was a HUGE fan of her first show:

At one point they were both in my lap for a long stretch.

That afternoon, I heard Harper chatting it up in her room instead of napping. I went in to get her and I noticed she had her babies all lined up.  I asked what she was doing and she said, “I was telling them about Winnie the Pooey”. :)

 

Easter Sunday….

The kids couldn’t wait to see what the bunny brought them:

We made our resurrection rolls on Easter morning this year:

While the rolls cooked, the kids opened presents from Nana and Pop:

Then it was time for the big Easter egg hunt.  Hud was chomping at the bit:

Some of the eggs were left empty. When the kids found those, they were supposed to yell out, “Hallelujah!” They did a great job:

Hudson was all about getting as many eggs as possible, Harper was all about eating chocolate as she went:
