My tiny dancer

Harper had her very first dance recital and my goodness it was precious!!!! These pictures are completely out of order...
The dress rehearsal was that morning:

Her daddy brought her flowers, of course, to celebrate:

Her bubba helped pick them out. And this was one proud brother!

Nana and Pop wouldn't have missed this:

That morning I snuck some pictures at dress rehearsal.  Pictures weren't allowed at recital:

Harper and two of her little friends:

Most of her sweet class:

So proud of my baby girl!

She loved her flowers!!!

Harper did so well!!!! I look forward to many years of watching her dance. :)

Wrapping up May

We went for another swim. It was short-lived because once again the water was freezing!

Hudson used the force on us:

This sweet girl and I had a date while the boys were golfing:

This is a funny joke...on my Mother's Day list, Hudson said I was "as pretty as a camel". Ha!  I joked even the snocone people realized that:

I got a little overheated and the next day felt pretty rotten.  This sweet boy wanted to hang out with me anyway:

Time for our Memorial Day swim (spoiler alert: it was still cold):

Hudson made this awesome golf book!

Memorial Day was surprisingly cool!  It is usually 100+ by then (but we have had an incredibly mild summer which has been a huge blessing):

Hudson missed his teacher and wrote her a sweet letter:

We had a kinder (and sibling) playdate at the trampoline place:

Hudson had his end of year baseball party. He received the "Baseball Ninja" award:

We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday!!!!

This sweet girl got brave at a party and went down a slide at the bounce house:

Last Day of Kinder!

The last day of school was upon us.  I had such mixed emotions on this day. On the one hand, I was thrilled to have my baby boy home with me all the time. On the other hand, I was sad to see such a sweet year end. We were so blessed with the best teachers and the sweetest friends.  I couldn't have asked for a better year for Hudson. It was exactly what he needed and where he was supposed to be.  His teacher threatened to find a way to flunk him so she could have him again and I told her she would get no argument from me!!  It was such a privilege to watch how Hud grow this year. He learned to read, which was thrilling for this bookworm!  I am so proud of my little boy!!!

Things that make me smile...

This boy playing baseball:

Getting creative:

Hud had scooter day at school.  We bought him a new scooter for the occasion and to celebrate a great kindergarten year!!!

Losing teeth and more...

Hudson lost his second tooth!  And once again, pulled it out all on his own.  Those two came out super close together:

Sweet girls listening in dance class:

This one keeps me on my toes. I love her joyful spirit!

Hudson had a goal to read 100 books in Kindergarten and he hit it!!!  This was his 100th book:

So proud of this boy!

His sweet teacher put together a kindergarten annual for them. This picture made me cry!!!

Sweet (grown up looking!!!) girls at the park:

More of May...

May brought beautiful days. We had some backyard fun:

This kid got his first set of golf clubs, he was thrilled!!!

First tri looks a lot like this around here:

Future golfer in the making:

We had our first swim of the season on Mother's Day.  Unfortunately, it didn't last long because it was FREEZING!!! (I did not even bother trying to get in):

Thankful for this awesome big brother:
