Kicking off Spring Break!

Spring Break started with sweet Sutton's 5th birthday party. She had a super cute cooking party:

Love her so so much:

We had a fun playdate at the park with a group of Type One families in our city. It was neat to get all the families and siblings together! It is a club you don't want to join, but filled with amazing people:

Later that day...Hudson was invited to participate in a video for an upcoming JDRF gala. They had a playdate in the park and videoed all the T1's playing:

This and That

He loves to play with his baby sister:

My best sous chef. We had a PJ wearing, cookie making day:

Grandparents Day at school! Hud's school has Grandparents Day the Friday before Spring Break every year. Lunch and a special visit to the classroom. He was so happy to have Nana and Pop there!

Finley is 15 months!!!

Dear Fin,

You are 15 months old! You are the sweetest, silliest, BUSIEST little girl that ever lived. You love to play, play, play. You like to have someone playing with you, but you are content to play on your own as well. You love to take things in and out of a purse, play in the pink car, play with your activity table, and push your push toys (FAST). Your favorite toy is still your toy kitchen.

Sleep has not changed. :)

You love to eat!! You sign more - often. :) You try most foods and enjoy all of them. Except vegetables, I am sad to say you have lost your love for most veggies. But, we will keep trying! You love fruit though! Right now you are drinking almond milk (again), your little belly did not love soy milk. You are quite happy on almond.

You have quite the nightly routine, you want your milk and you want it NOW. Once we are done rocking, drinking and singing you are ready to go to bed. You grab your lovey (Noodles), tuck it under your arm, pop your bop bop in and go to sleep. And you are the sweetest sleeper.

This past month you had your first stomach bug. Nothing makes me sadder than seeing one of my babies throw up - especially when they are still a baby baby. You handled it so well and was so happy.

You have many words - Mama, Dada, Bubba, Harper, Nana, Pop, bop bop, BYE (said at the top of your lungs), thank you, this and here.

You have the sweetest disposition. You smile at everyone and wave at everyone. Still no walking, but you are the fastest crawler in the south.

We love you so so much baby girl.

Love,
Mommy

15 month stats!

Finley at 15 months:

Height - 31 inches (67%)

Weight - 23 lbs 10 oz (they said 81% but I know that is wrong because Harper weighed more at this age and was 60%. So, not sure what the % for the weight is!)

This and That

Harps hid Easter Eggs (for herself) and Fin found them:

Melissa, Lizabeth and I snuck away for a pedicure. It ran a little long and Melissa's husband was kind enough to bring the girls to us after school:

Meet Noodles. Noodles goes everywhere with us:

I had to take all 3 kids to the pedi one day, they were SO good!

Hudson had another ear infection. :( and this time it was a staph infection. Luckily, it cleared up with meds quickly:

It is too bad she gets zero attention:

We went to the Dallas zoo on a gorgeous day:

They had an amazing lego exhibit (those are legos! Not a real peacock!):

Best big brother ever:

And then we tried out a fun new lunch place!

Ladybug soccer is back!!!

SHE READS!!

So....apparently Harper knows how to read!!! I have read a ton to her but haven't worked on reading with her. To be honest, I didn't plan to work on it with her. I tried to teach Hudson and it was an epic failure. He learned from Mrs. W in Kinder and is a super reader now so I haven't worried about it. Well, the little stinker taught herself!! And in one sitting read all of these books (from Hudson's kinder year) to me!!! So proud of my Harper Joy!
