“Easter” Satuday

We had a VERY lazy Easter Saturday (as you will see from the fact that the kids were in their pjs all.day.long.). During Harper’s nap, we started decorating Easter eggs. Hud was super excited:

 

When Harper woke up, she jumped right in:

We were debating which service to attend. We were planning on going to the Saturday night service (especially since our tball game got cancelled).  We ended up having a modern family Easter and watching it at home! It worked out really well for us this year:

After the kids went to bed, the Easter bunny paid a visit:

Good Friday Fun!

I love Good Friday for a number of reasons, but one of the main reasons is because Trent is off work!  We spent the morning at a new (to us) park. Somehow, this is the ONLY picture I got:

Harper is not a big fan of slides, but she is getting braver about them lately!
There was a huge rocket slide and it was a little too tall for Hud, but he still had a great time!

After the park, we picked up a fun lunch for a treat and headed home.  We spent the rest of the day hanging around the house and going on a family walk. The perfect Friday for our family!

School Easter Party

I love going to parties at Hud’s school. I love getting to seem him in his classroom and interacting with his friends. And I love how excited he gets when he sees me!

The egg hunt started and he took off!  Each kid was able to find 12 eggs and he found his FAST!

Then it was class picture time:

The kids went to stretch and grow and then gathered back in the room for their party. I snapped a pic of Hudson’s Easter egg. So proud of how far he has come with writing!

My sweet, picky eater ate fruit and carrots for lunch. :)

Then it was time for the craft. They were supposed to paint around a taped-off cross. Then you removed the tape and had a cross in the middle of the painting. Hud decided to paint a landscape picture on the back and then later did the cross part. :)

The boys had their team pictures on a VERY windy day.  I felt like we had moved to the plains.
