Omaha Road Trip Day 5

We made the long drive home on the last day.  My two cuties before we hit the road:

Omaha Road Trip Day 4

We had a low-key last day in Omaha.  We did some more playing outside.  Harper continued to love the snappers:

We set off some of our own fireworks (which makes me a nervous wreck and I make the kids stand way back):

The kids did sparklers for the first time (again - nervous wreck):

Harper found Trent's "pookie" from childhood and adopted him:

Earlier that day we did a little shopping and the kids got to ride a ferris wheel:

We found a sweet little playground to play at:

Then we had dinner at the Surfside Club (delicious fried chicken and YUMMY corn fritters!):

We saw some wild turkeys wandering around a neighborhood:

Omaha Road Trip Day 3

I love taking "traditional" pictures of my kids and capturing them every year if possible.  This was from 2011:

 The 4th of July was a beautiful day and we spent the majority of it outside playing:

We went to Fort Calhoun to buy some fireworks. Harper accompanied her dad to the stand:

Then we had some scooter time:

We set off some parachute guys (I think that's what they are called) and Harper LOVED the snappers:

Earlier that day, Hudson played with Star Wars figures...just like Daddy used to:
