Eight Months!

Dear Hudson,

You are eight months old today!!! I cannot believe how big you have gotten just in the past month. You are such a sweet little cuddle bug and I pray that you will stay that way for a while longer. You are still the happiest little boy and we get compliments on how good natured you are often. Your favorite toy is the jumperoo. In fact, you like to pretend you are in it all day long...no matter who is holding you. You love to stand up. You aren't crawling quite yet, but you are definitely rocking back and forth and have the army crawl down. You are a master roller and I am always amazed at the places I find you. You love to talk (can't imagine who you got that from) and you talk from morning until night (and sometimes during the night). You roll all over your crib during the night and we have taken to scattering at least six paci's in your crib every night, though you usually manage to have just one left in there in the morning. You love to eat. You will eat any and everything I put in front of you. Daddy and I have become pretty obsolete in the bottle holding department since you prefer to hold your own. Naps are still a challenge. These days you prefer to nap on me. I am not able to get much done during the day, but I secretly love that you still love to sleep on me and will take it for as long as it lasts. You took another trip to Waco this month to meet some new (to you) friends. You are an amazing little traveller and we feel so blessed for that. We had a little scare this month in the tummy department that resulted in a trip to Cooks. Thankfully, it all turned out okay and you just happen to be a very active little boy who likes to spit up! I am hopeful you will outgrow that soon. In the meantime there are many places where we have left our mark (sorry). You have made a couple of trips to pumpkin patches (with a couple more trips to come). The next few months hold such exciting milestones: the holidays, your first BU homecoming, and other exciting events and traditions. We can't wait to share it all with you. We love you so very much and feel so blessed to have you.
