Future Bear in Training…

Nineteen Months!!!!

 

Dear Hudson,

My little monkey…:) you are nineteen months old!!!  You are a bundle of energy, busy all the time and so much fun!  You are constantly on the go, no matter where we are.  You have gotten very good at climbing lately (including things you aren’t supposed to climb!).  You love to play the piano, stack your blocks and pretending to talk on your phone.  You have got the “more” sign for meals and snacks down very well.  You definitely let us know what you want and when you want it. You have transitioned so well to living at Nana and Papa’s, we are all so grateful for that. 

Your new favorite word is “giggle”.  It is so cute to hear you say it!  Right now you have about 15 words, but you definitely babble all day long.  And it is still very adorable. :)  You love to dance.  You prefer to stand in the middle while we all circle around you and clap.  You learned to “sic ‘em bears” this month. You also like to say “whaaaaaaaaaaat?” and have us all repeat you.  We are more than happy to oblige.

Hudson’s Big Boy Haircut!

I took Hudson to get his haircut again today (it was a couple of weeks overdue).  Well, we left with a big boy haircut that this mommy wasn’t quite prepared for yet.  But, I think he looks pretty darn cute and he is still my little boy. :)

When it rains…

apparently it rains for DAYS!!!  And let me tell you what my very active 18-month-old was not a fan of house arrest.  So, daddy took him out to show him why being out in the rain wasn’t fun:

Chalking!

I tried to introduce Hudson to the joys of chalking the other day (he needs practice for when he gets to BU!).  However, he didn’t love it as much as I had hoped.  Really he just wanted to carry the chalk around…

After the short lived chalking experience we waited for daddy to get home and “talked” to the animals:

Fun at the zoo…

We had a fun time at the zoo with Mallie and Gates last week.  Hudson was LOVING riding in the wagon with Gates…

My mom gave Hudson a remote control to a fan that he is convinced actually controls the TV:

We had Hudson’s 18 month check-up today.  Here are his stats:

Height – 35 inches (97th percentile)

Weight – 27 lbs 3 oz (50th percentile)

Head – 19 (50th percentile)
