I tried to introduce Hudson to the joys of chalking the other day (he needs practice for when he gets to BU!). However, he didn’t love it as much as I had hoped. Really he just wanted to carry the chalk around…
After the short lived chalking experience we waited for daddy to get home and “talked” to the animals:

I am laughing out loud (I refuse to write LOL) at this post that you are referring to sidewalk chalk as "chalking" like at BU. So funny!
And I love your line of "all is right with the world" about Daddy coming home. I have said that so many times.
