Sixteen Months!!!

Dear Harper,

First, let me apologize that this is so late.  Second, let me apologize that you are wearing Christmas pjs in March in your monthly picture.  It is just the kind of month it has been around here, but more on that later.

You are still my easy-going girl!  You go with the flow. You LOVE your sleep still (like mommy, like daughter), but if you miss your nap or take a short one, you are usually still happy as can be.  You are a still a good eater overall, but you are starting to get a little pickier. I am trying to avoid the road we have been down with your brother, but time will tell. 

We have had some issues figuring out what milk you need to be on. But, it seems like almond milk is the winner. :)

You love to play with your baby dolls and your Happy Home.  You have a slight obsession with Hudson’s bear, Judge. But, he is sweet and shares with you.  You like to look at books and point out everything.

You are extremely verbal! (I have NO idea where you get that:)).  Right now you have about 33 words.  The doctor was impressed at your well check with you how well you speak. You understand everything we tell you or ask you to do. It is uncanny.  You and Hudson have conversations with you responding, “uh-huh” and “un-huh”.  He likes to then repeat to me what you discussed and how you answered. :)

You LOVE your bubba so very much.  He wants to hug you all day long and you are just fine with it.  You follow him around and are very sad when he is at school.

You are still not walking.  I don’t really know what else to say about that. :)  I know you will get there when you are ready. I look forward to that day.

We love you so very much baby girl. You bring so much JOY to our lives!!!
