Hudson was set on being Spiderman for Halloween. He actually picked it out back in August and never varied. I had picked out Harper’s costume a year ago (I have to take advantage of being able to pick her costume while I still can!). My mom and I made her costume and I am absolutely in love with how adorable she looked. :)

Our neighbors are very kind to throw a block party every Halloween. We headed over there for dinner before Trick or Treating. Harper was a tad overwhelmed at first:
Hudson found his friend Jackson right away and the two superheroes faced off:
Harper warmed up:
We attempted a group shot of all the kids…Harper was not having it:
Hud just kept webshooting everyone:
Pretty soon it was time for trick or treating…we loaded up the wagon and headed out:
Hud is an old pro by now and showed his little sister the ropes. This was her first time to trick or treat! Last year (when she was almost one) she was going to bed at 6 p.m. and missed out on trick or treating. She was a quick learner:
A funny (now it is funny) story…Hudson was getting really excited at one house and fidgeting around. Well, he whirled around and knocked his head right into a brick point sticking out of the wall. Obviously, it hurt pretty badly (he was okay, no blood or bruise) and he teared up fast. The people who lived there were slightly freaking out and suddenly stuffed a huge bag of kettle corn in his hand, telling him he got something special for getting hurt. It was very sweet of them because it was not in any way their fault. And Hud loves him some popcorn, so he was suddenly not so sad. :)
After hitting many, many houses it was {way past} time to head home. The kids had a GREAT night!!!
