Yes, Father’s Day. I am THAT far behind apparently. Well, we had a great, low-key Father’s Day this year. Which is exactly what Trent wanted. :)
The day started out with Trent doing some cooking (he really loves to cook. I feel the need to explain that so I don’t come off as the lazy wife who made her husband cook on his day. I offered to make his favorite meal and he said he wanted to cook something special since he enjoys that. I didn’t argue). Hudson lent him a hand:
Hudson is really into eggs:
Then Hudson wanted to do some crafts and Trent was happy to oblige his best buddy:
Later (while Trent was still cooking) Harper and I had a little photo shoot:
Not sure what was going on here:
Harper LOVES Hudson and gets SO excited to see him. She practically jumps out of my arms to get to him. And he loves her equally:
Then a photo shoot with daddy:
The rare shot of both kids (Hud doesn’t like to stop for pictures). I love the look Harps is giving Hud:
My favorite pic:
Trent finished up our DELICIOUS dinner:
Before we ate the dads opened their presents. Hudson helped out:
For Trent’s first Father’s Day I gave him and my dad a mug with Hudson’s picture on it. I should add Trent totally made fun of this gift calling it the stereotypical Father’s Day gift. My dad loved it though. So, I made them both one of Harper this year.
Trent also got a bike trailer so he can take Hudson with him when he wants to go for a bike ride:
The final pizza products:
I am so lucky to have a wonderful daddy and my kids are so lucky to have a wonderful daddy as well! We had a fun day celebrating two fantastic fathers!!!
