Hudson’s 3rd t-ball game was a few weeks ago. Trent had something come up at work and wasn’t able to be there. So, it was up to me to warm Hud up, help him stay focused, etc. This stressed me out a little, but I was determined to step up to the plate (so to speak, ha!).
Hud gets a little sick of the fact I take pictures all.the.time:
Loving his buddies:
Next thing I know – Hudson is being called on to play catcher. I just knew that there was no way that Hud was going to put on the gear necessary. But, he proved me wrong!
Then it was Hud’s turn up to bat. The past few games Hud has made great contact with the ball, but then sweet boy runs and picks it up and subsequently gets himself out. :) While it is precious, I have tried and tried to explain he needs to run as hard as he can to first after hitting the ball. Well, this game it finally clicked! (And I think that is in large part to the first base coach!!)
Next thing you know – sweet boy is scoring a run!!!!!
High-fives!
I am not afraid to tell you I cried. And then I cried again when I realized Trent wasn’t there to see it.
I also couldn’t believe I didn’t have my good camera on this momentous day. However, my friend Kerri’s sweet sister had hers and was SO kind to take this wonderful pics of Hud!!!
So thankful. :)
The game was definitely one of those memories that I will never forget!!!

So precious - I'm sure Hudson was very proud of his run!
