The day after our return was kind of a waste of a day. :) Pretty much every hour someone in our house was asleep…except for 3 hours and I used that time to get to the grocery store!
The next day Hud was dying to go to the park. We went early (and luckily the major heat wave had not hit yet). I also chose a park that is pretty shaded.
It was a great morning for the 3 of us! Afterwards, we headed to my parent’s house to check in on my dad. The kids had lunch and then made time to snuggle. :) Hud asked for a picture and I was happy to oblige!
