Our last day in Indy! Sadly, Kristin had to work. The rest of us headed to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. We had heard it was amazing and we heard correctly!
Dinosaurs coming into the museum! Hud was in amazement when we saw this as we drove up:
Not sure why he felt the need to lay down:
Harper was excited!
The dinosaur exhibit was the first place we headed. It was incredible and right up our dinosaur loving boy’s alley!
There is an incredible glass sculpture exhibit. The kids can lay down and the seats spin in a slow circle:
I *might* have freaked out on Hud and told him not to touch this area thinking it was an exhibit…I *might* have been wrong and was gently corrected by another mom:
Their was an awesome hot wheels exhibit. I think it was both H’s favorite exhibit!
There was also an incredible Lego exhibit (everything was incredible):
They have a carousel ride on one of the levels. Harper was pumped for her first official ride!
Such a sweet pic:
Right after this picture Harper got soaked when the “dam” opened:
I am not sure that there are supposed to be 4 kids crammed into this car, but whatever works!
The Egypt exhibit was the last place we got to see. The kids ride in a “plane” and “land” in Egypt!
There is a cute cafe that the kids can serve their parents in…or if you are Harper be served in:
I think Hud looks like a Starbucks barista here and it cracks.me.up.:
All too soon it was time to say our goodbyes. I threatened to take Kaitlin home with us. She is going to make a fabulous babysitter in a couple of years!!
Harper crashed not too long after we got in the car:
Hello Kentucky! We flew out of Louisville. It looks like a city I would like to go back and visit! Thanks to this visit to Kentucky, I added state number 38 to my list…just 12 more to go!
Our last day in Indy was also our 7th anniversary! We celebrated with an airport dinner at Chili’s. :)
Such a fun trip to see GREAT friends!!!
