Twins and Loss...

On April 16th, my dad's twin brother Donnie passed away. I won't go too much into the details because they aren't mine to share. But, it was heartbreaking for my dad and therefore heartbreaking for me.

The twin connection has always been a fascinating one to me. And it is one I witnessed time and time again between my dad and Donnie. It never ceased to amaze me. When Donnie died, my dad lost a piece of himself and my heart aches for him.
