Day 3 started out lovely.
The obligatory castle pic:
We had fastpassed lunch at the very new, very popular, Be Our Guest restaurant at Belle’s Castle. The stand-by line was unreal. Thanks to our fastpass, we walked right up:
The inside was unbelievable. Along that back wall of windows, it looks as if it is actually snowing outside:
There are three rooms, we sat in one of the smaller side rooms:
“The Grey Stuff” from the movie (“Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious”):
In the Beast’s room, you can see the enchanted rose:
You might notice that there are a LOT of pictures missing between lunch and dusk. That is because when we walked out of lunch, there was a downpour going on. And it lasted the rest of the day. It was almost comical. At one point, (when it looked like we had just stepped out of the shower fully clothed), we almost threw in towel and went back. But, I am SO glad we didn’t. The park pretty much emptied out. Because it was just rain and no lightening, nothing was shut down. We were able to walk right on pretty much everything.
An even bigger bonus awaited us that night. Since practically everyone except us Disney diehards had gone home, we had front-row (literally) seats to Wishes:
Our kids had never been there late enough to see Wishes, so front row seats were a treat. After that, since it was already so late and we were already soaked to the bone – why not go ride Big Thunder six more times?? :)
It was definitely one for the memory books!
