We have so much to be thankful for this year! A wonderful family, a healthy baby girl, and so much more!
The preparations for our Thanksgiving meal began the night before. Trent loves to cook and he had been looking forward to trying new recipes this year. Here he is getting ready with his helpful sous chef.
Thanksgiving Day was very cold so we spent all of it indoors. Some sibling bonding during the Macy’s Parade:
Little princess had a few outfit changes that day:
The turkey! We had planned on frying it again this year, but the wind derailed our plans. Hopefully, we will be able to do it for Christmas.
Hudson (who has major cabin fever these days) was not happy that he couldn’t go outside to play…
So, he found other ways to have fun…
Thanksgiving wine…
Hudson is still in his picky eating phase (going on nine months now)…so he decided to find his own Thanksgiving meal rather than the one we prepared.
A little peek-a-boo with Nana and Pop before dinner:
The meal! Trent and my mom really outdid themselves this year. All this food for four adults and one (did I mention picky?) child! We were able to feast on this for a few days.
Such a wonderful holiday and now we are gearing up for Christmas!
