Ten Months Old!!!

Dear Harper,

You are ten months old!!!  What a month you have had!  You started crawling the day after you turned nine months.  You haven’t slowed down since.  If you are on the floor you make a beeline to the playroom or to your bubba.  You still like to be held a lot (and I still love it), but you are enjoying your new freedom to explore.  This week you have really started pulling up quite a bit. You are anxious to walk and I have a feeling it will be sooner rather than later.

You are still our rock star sleeper.  Your bedtime (set by you) is still six o’clock, no matter what time you get up for your nap. You sleep until about eight a.m.  You usually only take one nap a day and it is anywhere from one to three hours.

You love your food!  You will try any and everything.  You have gotten much better about not choking, so we have been able to try a lot of foods. You are pretty much on all table foods now and four six ounce bottles a day.

You are definitely a go-with-the-flow girl.  You are completely laid back.  You also love people – when we are out and about you work your hardest to get people to smile back at you. And they usually do. :)

You love your bubba SO much (and he loves you so much).  Every morning when we go upstairs to get him, you pump your little legs with excitement and start chanting his name (or at least your name for him).  It has been hard on you that he is at pre-school two days a week (hard on your mommy as well).  You cry in the backseat after we drop him off and you NEVER cry.  You and I are getting some good girl bonding in though. :)

You have six words now: hi, bye, mama, dada, hey, and bubba.

We love you so very much baby girl.  We can’t wait to see what the next month brings!
