We made our annual family visit to our favorite pumpkin patch in Flower Mound this past weekend. It was perfect pumpkin patch weather!!! (Thank goodness – made me happy after the not-so-perfect patch weather we had during visit #1).
Hudson and Harper rode in the wagon over to Hud’s favorite area – the bounce houses.
They have a hay maze that leads to a slide. Adults are not allowed in it. Last year, Hudson felt he was big enough to go in there and it terrified me!!! I was okay with it this year. I did have to give the workers the side eye though – they were standing on top of the hay bales doing something and then would yell at any kid who climbed on top of the hay. Clearly they had never heard of monkey see, monkey do.
Harper was itching to get in on the slide action:
Instead she got her own little pumpkin to play with:
They have a cute little train ride…Hud and Trent waiting in line:
Harps smiling at her bubba and daddy:
And they are off!
Harper watching them go:
Hudson wanted to pick the “pertec” pumpkin:
And of course the traditional first pumpkin patch picture!
And a flashback!
We finally figured out how to get her to smile at the patch! Put her on a pile of little pumpkins! :)
