We had a lovely Thanksgiving this year. We started out with our traditional Fletcher Family Turkey Trot:
After a quick run to the store for some last minute things, we sat down to watch the parade:
Hud’s fave!
Harper was not impressed:
Hud found a more comfortable spot:
We attempted ANOTHER picture of the two of them:
Hud is VERY patient with his sissy:
However, he was no longer amused at this point:
Or maybe he was:
(In Harper’s defense she had been sick with a cold for about five days at this point. Pretty much I didn’t set her down at all for TEN days. Seriously. Non-stop holding. For ten days. I love holding my baby girl, but my arms hurt after ten days.)
However swinging made her very happy:
Nothing says Thanksgiving like a little Buzz Lightyear:
With a little turkey frying on the side:
And no Thanksgiving would be complete without a little pumpkin smoosh…the pie pretty much imploded on itself when mom took it out of the oven. It was very reminiscent of the time I dropped a pan of baked beans down my legs and all over the kitchen in college…
Harper, our little eater, did not disappoint:
Hudson, our non-little-eater, also did not disappoint:
Our feast:
Brittany and Greg came to see us! Loved getting to see them!! Hud loved their new puppy, too. :)
So did Hannah. :)
It was a great Thanksgiving!
