Six Months!

Dear Hudson,
I can hardly believe you are six months old today! We had a fun month this past month. You met your Grandpa and Grandma D and had fun hanging out with them. You started eating solid foods (avocado and sweet potatoes are a hit, oatmeal not so much). We took a short road trip in preparation for a very long road trip. You did great! You love your big boy car seat. I think you like that you are a bit higher and can see out the window a little better. You have officially rolled both directions - though you don't have much interest in doing it on a regular basis. You are trying your hardest to sit up and I know you will be there before we know it. You love to snuggle with us and we love that you love that. You have become a nap time tummy sleeper. Never in the crib, but you love to fall asleep on the couch. Suddenly you love your paci (you didn't have much use for it before). You have learned it to take it out and put it back in on your own and love to do that over and over again. Time will tell if that is a teething thing or a permanent love. Your love for Myron has cooled off a bit as you begin to discover other toys around you. These past few days you have found your voice and let us all know about it! Your daddy and I love to make up songs to sing to you. You are such a happy little pumpkin. You wake up cooing every morning and I love the sound of it through the monitor. You have been described over and over again as "so chill". It is such an accurate description of you. You are such a blessing to us and we could not love you more. We can't wait to watch you grow and learn over the next six months.
We love you so much!
Mommy and Daddy
