3 months!!!

Dear Harper,

You are 3 months old today! I honestly don’t know if there could possibly be a sweeter baby in the entire world.  You never cry – unless you are extremely hungry.  But, you rarely get to that point because you are like clock work – you eat 5 ounces pretty much every 2 hours during the day.  One day you might think that is a lot, but let me tell you a little secret.  You eat that often because you sleep ten hours practically every night.  That is right my little sweetheart – you are a fantastic sleeper and I am a little frightened of rocking the boat by writing those words.  But, the truth is you have been a great sleeper since the day you came home.  You are the dream baby who tricks us into believing all babies are as easy and laid-back as you. :)

Today we heard your first laugh.  It was the sweetest little sound.  I am sick that we didn’t get it on video, but we will soon. You are such a happy little girl.  Often you get distracted when you are eating because you are too busy smiling.  You talk a lot to my little friend. Your daddy and I both think you will talk early and often. :)

Just like your brother before you, you love your bouncy seat and your swing. Speaking of your big brother – boy does he love you. :)  Every morning he wants to wake you up and love on you.  I have to convince him to let you sleep. But, once you are up he is all about you.  And you love him so much too.  You grin at him all the time. 

Baby girl, we love you so very much.  It is a privilege to watch you grow.
