We road tripped to Taos, New Mexico to meet up with Jim and Debby for a long weekend. We had initially planned to leave early Thursday morning, but decided to leave Wednesday after Trent got off work and drive to Amarillo.
I bought tackle boxes for the kids and filled them up with snacks. They each got a box and were told it was theirs to eat as quickly or slowly as they wanted, but it wasn’t getting refilled. It worked out even better than I thought. They honestly snacked a lot less and I didn’t spend the entire trip passing back bags of food. :)

I had packed the kids things in our bag so we wouldn’t have to bring in their bag as well. However, I failed to pack Harper’s pjs. When all else fails, Bubba’s shirt will work in a pinch. :)
