Six Months!!!!

Dear Harper Joy,

You are six months old!!! I can hardly remember life before you.  You are the perfect fit in our family.  Such a sweet, happy baby. You smile all the time.  Every morning when I go to get you out of your crib you give me the biggest smile. I love it.  Even at 3 a.m. when you have lost your beloved bop, you grin and kick your feet when I come in there.  And then most of the time you go right back to sleep.  You are still our rockstar sleeper.  You are very go with the flow and super laid-back. You are my snuggle buddy.  You love to snuggle and want to be held the majority of the time and we are happy to oblige.

You are eating about four to six ounces at a time and usually six bottles a day. We haven’t started you on solid foods yet, but plan on doing that very soon.

The big news is that you rolled back to tummy!  Just a few days ago in fact. You have been close for a while, you would get in this super awkward looking position and then stop. :)  The other day you finally went all the way and even ended up that way at night a few nights ago.  You haven’t rolled tummy to back in a while. I think it still freaks you out a little. :)

Your big brother continues to adore you. When he hears you wake up (or sees you wake up in the car) he proudly announces “Baby’s Wakey!”  He gets so excited.  He likes to ask you if you slept well. When you go down for a nap, he stands at your door whispering “good night, sweet dreams, sleep tight”. You give him some of your biggest smiles. 

One thing that is so funny to me is how much you love your feet. If you are in a position where you can, you grab onto your feet and more times than not stick them in your mouth. :)

You are our precious, sweet baby girl.  We all love you more than words can say.
