Father’s Day

I asked Trent what he wanted to do for Father’s Day. He wanted to spend time with the fam, cook a (fabulous) meal and swim. Done!  Trent and I had a late night the night before at a wedding, so we played hooky from church and laid low in the morning.

Preparing the meal with his awesome assistant:

If this doesn’t say Father’s Day, I don’t know what does!

For some reason Hud needed to wear his helmet while we drove…

We went over to my parent’s house just in time for naps. Harper took an especially long one – must have been the dreary weather! We braved the pool anyway:

Check out this face!  She made it a lot that afternoon:

This could not possibly have been the reason! Ha!

Then it was Hud’s turn (though he may be getting a tad too big for it! :( )

It was a wonderful Father’s Day.  I am thankful for my wonderful father and for the wonderful father that my kids are lucky enough to have!
